🎮 How to Cancel Xbox Game Pass (Ultimate, Console & PC)

Whether you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, or Console Game Pass, Microsoft makes it easy to sign up — but a little harder to cancel. Here’s your complete 2025 guide to canceling Xbox Game Pass and stopping auto-renewal on any device.


💻 Cancel Xbox Game Pass Through Microsoft Account

  1. Go to account.microsoft.com/services and sign in.
  2. Find your active Xbox Game Pass subscription.
  3. Click Manage next to it.
  4. Click Cancel Subscription or Turn off recurring billing.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm cancelation.

Tip: If you turn off recurring billing, you’ll still have access until the next renewal date.


📱 Canceling Xbox Game Pass via Xbox Console

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Choose your Xbox Game Pass plan.
  5. Follow the prompts to cancel or turn off recurring billing.
